Little Story
My first guitar I every owned
The Second Song at Thirty
Everything changed back in high school.
I saw a classmate carrying an acoustic guitar—the sleek black guitar and its gig bag left a deep impression on me.
The thought “I want to try that too” rushed over me.
My father was always happy to let his children to try a new thing.
He took me to a YAMAHA guitar shop and bought me my first guitar, a Yamaha F310, along with a self-study book.
However, at that age, I had no musical background.
Without a teacher and facing the heavy pressure of school exams, the passion at my fingertips eventually faded.
Finally, I put that dream aside, and the guitar became a forgotten memory.
Time flew by. I followed the academic path and eventually entered the tech industry.
Nine years passed in a blink of an eye at a busy job—fifteen years in total had vanished.
Although my life was stable, but I felt a sense of restlessness deep inside.
That F310 guitar remained hidden in the back of my closet, silently tucked away in its black nylon bag.
Until one summer afternoon. The cicadas were buzzing outside my bedroom, and the scenery through the window felt peaceful and calm.
Yet, in that silence, I felt an indescribable sense of emptiness.
A voice suddenly surfaced in my heart: “I’m thirty years old already!
Time is so fast… but am I truly living for myself?”
Looking back at my career, everything felt like clockwork—busy day and night.
I felt a strong urge to redefine my life through something meaningful.
I wasn’t looking for a world-shaking success; I just wanted my life to be a little different.
So, I started using my weekends to learn the basics of guitar knowledge.
Music began to fill my free time. It became the one thing I could do for myself—an attempt to find who I really am in my life time.
